Rack systems are the most widely used "space" saving enclosures an enthusiast can build. Rack systems can be used for a variety of purposes, but their primary housing purpose has been adapted for breeders. These units allow breeders the ability to house numerous animals, in a smaller amount of space.

It is always best to offer the largest possible enclosure that you can for your reptiles. Racks should not be used as a means to simply confine your animals in a smaller and more space saving space. All racks can be modified to house larger containers so you are offering your animal as much space as possible.
